"We had a wonderful time staying at this hotel and the staff was really lovely, patient and helpful. I misread the French menu and didn’t see that they didn’t have a main course option which I could choose as a pescatarian, and they made a last minute substitution perfectly. I would highly recommend anyone seeking a restful getaway to opt for Volando. Our only suggestion is if there could be a gym added (but the surroundings are perfect for hiking)! "

"Superb place for a good getaway from city life. An one night rest at the hotel to soak in the hot spring bath in the room with very friendly staff who speaks English & Chinese. Simple and filling breakfast. A must to enjoy the bath to soak dog the stress. Walkable to explore the surroundings probably 2-3hrs walkabout."

"There are only positives to say about this delightful homestay. Situated in gorgeous garden grounds, the comfort and freshly prepared food were second to none. The host was attentive and kind. Unbeatable value for money. "

"방 안에서 대형 바퀴벌레가 여러마리 나왔습니다. 23개국을 여행하면서 이런 경험은 처음이었어요. TV쪽 벽, 침대 옆 벽, 침대 바로 위 천장에서 발견됐어요. 처음 한 마리 나왔을 땐 잡고 자면 될 줄 알았는데 잡고 나서 자려고 불을 끄면 계속 침대 쪽 벽이랑 천장 쪽에서 추가로 한 마리씩 나왔습니다. 천장에서 떨어질 땐 날개로 날아다니기도 했습니다. 제가 잡은 것만 총 4마리였습니다. 도무지 잘 수 없어서 환불 요청하려고 새벽에 프론트에 방문했고 일단 6층 방으로 옮겨주셨는데, 그 방은 괜찮았습니다. 건물이 달라서 그런 것 같아요. 식당있는 쪽 건물 5층, 특히 510호 방은 정말 심각했습니다. 식당이 있어서 더 그런 것 같습니다. 호텔 관계자 분들이 문제를 해결하려고 적극적으로 도와주시긴 했지만 호텔의 개선을 위해서는 더욱 엄격한 방역이 필요할 것 같습니다. 그 외에 온천 욕이랑 저녁식사, 식당 테라스에서 보는 주변 경관은 좋았어요."

"Nice B&B, clean, countryside, quiet, spacious room, and very good Taiwanese style breakfast. Very good location and right timing if you drive down from Lishan. Only bad thing is no closet in my room. "

"Front desk staff wasn’t the nicest I encountered, she tried to double charge for my 10 years old even though Expedia have charged me already. The different staff next morning ask me again until I show them the app from Expedia price details. Not a pleasant feeling."

"We stayed in room 311. The aircon of the room was very bad. Totally poor. It got so bad that we have to get a fan. It is summer, the hotel can do better than to control the aircon at such a high temperature. To be honest, the hotel lobby is so much cooler. "

"Room was as per pics. Quite good condition in the room, esp bathroom. Even has a tub! However breakfast was cold and very limited. We stayed 3D2N and arrived late for check in, so reception was extremely rude to our driver and brisk with us. Breakfast staff was trying but the food really was cold and looked miserable. There was a children’s playroom and outdoor communal areas for hanging out so property was not bad. But surrounding areas were abandoned paddy fields if u want convenience stores....
