I like this property until after I packed before leaving and verified all my items then the same morning went to get breakfast before checking out my keys got tamper with and the keychain was gone, not attached to it anymore and my key was tucked in a spot in my bag I would never leave it and not sure if they even made copies of my key. On our way back to grab our luggage’s the elevator did not work for a good couples of minutes which was super odd. Our safe was giving error codes the previous day & we had no access for hours. Elevators was off stopped at every floor but no one was there and that happened a lot whenever we would take it. After a while it did not feel safe to be there.

Next to the resort a new hotel/resort was being built so no one could be at the swim up bar because the debris kept getting into the pool, I have never been charged for room service ever while being at a all inclusive an they charge for room service,

We have come here several times. Each time it got a little worse. They have a 11 or 12 story hotel being built next door which completely blocks the sun from the pools starting around 1:00pm. Pools are heated to the mid 70s. Which would be great if there was actually sun shining above. The buffet is okay at breakfast but gets worse as the day goes on. Foods seem to be recycled for lunch. The dinner buffet has themes but the food choices didn’t match the stated themes. There are very few protein choices at dinner, it has lots of potatoes and breads. The snack bar by the pool had good food but it’s only opened 12pm-5pm. But if it’s raining out the close it early. The staff are very nice and helpful, it’s really the only thing going for this place. While we were there it rained 2 days. They didn’t have a backup activities plan for the guests. They just close everything outside and the guest fend for themselves. It’s sad to see how bad this place has gotten I can say with certainty I won’t go back.

The staff was friendly and attentive. There is construction next door which led to early morning noise and loss of view since it is a high rise blocking a full open view

After reading some reviews then staying there (Jan 6-10 2025) I will be all the way honest. It was a mommy and daughter’s trip. Checking in was easy traveled the world one of the first times our room was ready early. Doesn’t happen often so we were glad! Our room was clean looked good smelled good ocean view balcony. House keeping kept our room clean clean everyday we were there!!! Organized our shoes fresh towels! So no complaints as far as check in and our room. Property was clean it’s a smaller resort not as modern as some other hotels but as a smaller hotel it did its duty. The outdoor pool area is cute 3 different pool areas we unfortunately had cooler weather when we arrived so the outside area was cooler than we are comfortable with. There is a larger 14 story new hotel being constructed next door that does block the sun half of the pool area but it’s not the hotels fault the neighbors are rude. Food: so I saw alot of concerns about reservations at certain restaurants we didn’t bother the buffet was enough for me and my kids to enjoy every night food was good if my boogie American kids made it work and liked it I’m sure yall will be just fine. I’ve stayed at diamond awarded hotels and I’ve stayed at less desirable hotels in other countries (Antigua Jolly beach resort) this hotel for the price is great!!! Please remember you are in another country be respectful to their culture their language. Beach is beautiful, great shows!

They had originally given us an ocean view on the 1st floor, but we didn't like it, it wasn't like the photo it showed when we selected the room, we asked for a change and they very kindly accommodated us on another ocean view with a king size bed, much better like the one we chose when booking. Very good clean rooms. Delicious food. Marcopolo's breakfast buffet needs more variety. The a la carte restaurants have very good dishes. For 3 ppl or less is better the airport transportation with the hotel, the rate is better than the taxi outside. The shops inside for jewelry and other items are terribly expensive. Overall it was a pleasant stay, we will definitely return.
