"We stayed here two nights so we would have a whole day to see the castle and abbey. That was a good idea. It was great staying here. We had a view of the shore and sea. The restaurant had delicious food. If you come to Le Mont Saint-Michel, be sure to call ahead and get precise directions to the parking lots for the shuttle bus to the island. We did not have that info and we felt lucky to find people to give us the parking lot code and to tell us how to take our luggage to the shuttle. And beware, you will carry your luggage up flights of stairs to get to your room. This island is not a place to be if you have trouble walking. After we got on the island we had a great time. Don't miss the little shops with galletes (French burritos) and ice-cream cones. And hold on to your hats when get near the weather side of the island!! I will stay here again when I have the chance."

"It was in a lovely square. Car traffic was limited, mostly pedestrians, and there was immediate access to shops, dining and the beautiful ramparts and beach."

"The staff were incredible and the food was amazing. Book a sea view if you can as it was a lovely way to wake up. Take the walk along the coast to Dinard if you are able bodied !"
