"I highly recommend this property to anyone visiting La Spezia, Portovenere or Cinque Terre. Short car drive to catch the ferry or train! House has a beautiful Mountain View, Italian breakfast was amazing, room was comfortable with a very nice bathroom but most importantly, staff was very welcoming and gave us amazing tips as to how to make the most of our short stay in La Spezia. " My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at La Meridiana and we can confidently say it was one of the most memorable hotel experiences we've ever had. From the moment we arrived, the hostess' hospitality was top-notch—warm, welcoming, and she was always eager to assist. Check-in was smooth, and we were quickly shown to our room, which exceeded our expectations. The village is quaint and serene, and the outside of the hotel is beautiful. The soothing sounds of a picturesque babbling brook can be heard from the square which adds to the village experience. The room was impeccably clean, spacious, and beautifully designed, with modern amenities and a cozy ambiance that made it feel like a home away from home. What really stood out during our stay was the attention to detail. The hotel offered thoughtful touches like complimentary waters daily and an in-depth breakdown of the area (including restaurant recommendations, transportation details and scenic areas to view). Breakfast each morning was a delightful spread of both hot and cold options, catering to every taste and dietary need. "This place exceed expectations, the church and naturist vibe were amazing. Who needs a TV or AC anyhow. Amazing views of the ocean, nice outside area with tables for enjoying a bottle of wine and watching the sunset. Went in July and even without AC temperatures overnight was in the low 60F. Close to two trails to Monterosso and Vernazza. For the true hiker who wants to be away from the tourist this place is the perfect fit"
