"Palazzo Cannavina in Campobasso is truly one of the best places to stay when visiting the city and the stunning Molise region. I honestly can’t say enough good things about the service we received—everything was top-notch from beginning to end. The communication was excellent—quick, helpful responses from the moment we booked. Our room was spacious, beautifully designed with elegant linens, and filled with stunning artwork throughout the building that made every hallway feel like a gallery. One of the most impressive aspects was the daily housekeeping. Our bed was made each morning and the room tidied—a level of care and attention that seems lost in many American hotels, even at high-end resorts. It was refreshing to feel genuinely taken care of, rather than having to chase down basic customer service. (Yes, Disney—this one’s for you!) The atmosphere of Palazzo Cannavina was warm and welcoming. Breakfast was a highlight—served upon request and beautifully presented, it felt more like being a guest in someone’s refined home than staying in a hotel and with Castello Monforte just steps from your door, you’re quite literally surrounded by history. Campobasso itself is a hidden gem. The local shopping and dining were charming, with an authenticity that’s hard to find in more tourist-heavy spots. The people of Campobasso are kind, welcoming, and clearly excited to share their city with visitors. "

"We really liked this location and were very happy when we arrived. It’s nestled in the historic part of town within the walls of the original structures on top of the hill. The unit is small but comfortable and well laid-out. There’s a very nice and good size terrace with a very nice view. The full kitchen includes cabinets, range/oven, fridge, and a nice size table with chairs. Good shower. Large TV. Counter space. Plugs where you need them. Instructions for check-in and access were easy to follow. Parking is a bit of a challenge, but we managed to find a good spot by being patient and the walk to the room was only two or three minutes. That being said, I hate to say that the bed was horrible. The memory foam mattress was losing its memory. It wouldn’t have been too bad but the setup for it was wrong. The frame was set up with slats to hold a traditional box spring mattress. But with no box spring and insufficient support the mattress the mattress couldn’t do its job. We had to repositions some of the slats but they were too short to stay in place and in the night would fall and let the mattress sink down as well. I let the owners know that it needed a solid surface, and they said they would look into it. If this gets fixed, then this would easily be a 5 star review."

"Refused to stay here. Construction going on, front entrance uneven flooring. Smell musty, afraid might be asbestos. Picture does not show any renovation. "

"The one key for the room policy and the A/C works only if the key is slot. So when you leave to go to the beach. You take your key with you the a/c and power turns off. When you come back from a very hot day at the beach you come back to a hot room and it takes hours to it to cool up again. And to top it all off the a/c unit blows very low. "
