"A great location and the views were breathtaking and a really quiet rural location. Breakfast was good and it helped us pactice our Spanish. Thank you for a great stay."
"One of the best experiences we’ve had after many trips. The location, atmosphere, architecture, decor, details, service, and attention were impeccable. Worth returning to."
"Lovely hotel just out of Santander in a reasonably sized village.
Restaurants, cafes, supermarkets and bakeries all close by.
Several sandy beaches within walking distance.
Hotel was clean, tidy and quiet. Staff were lovely and helpful. Air con was powerful.
We stopped here the night before we were due to catch the boat from Santader. Would happily stay here agin."

10/10 Excellent
"Wonderful renovated historic building near centre of historic town. Excellent service, especially from young man called Alejandro, who couldn’t do enough for us. Would love to visit again"
"Absolutely beautiful! We loved the hotel! Its a lovely historic building that has been renovated, the room was huge in comparison with other European hotel rooms, and service was great too! The lady at the front desk went above and beyond by even making our dinner reservations. "
"Beautiful property, my friend and I only stayed one night but both of us found the property to be really lovely. We both thought it would be a great getaway place. Especially nice if your with a significant other"
"The hotel is beautiful, and very convenient for the town. The seating area at the front of the property was very relaxing.
The only negative would be the road was quite noisy at night."
"Beautiful room with two balconies and lovely furnishings. The bed was large and comfortable, and the bathroom was cavernous. The hotel is in a wonderfully decorated historic building in the center of town. A perfect place from which to enjoy Santillana Del Mar. The only point against them is that there is no coffee maker or kettle in the room. Parking available in their lot for a small charge. "
"Difficult to locate, parking is a long walk away up and down cobble-stone streets, check-in is complicated, the apartment name is not as advertised, the nearby church bells sound on the hour. Given the cost and problems it is not good value for money - better to stay at the nearby Parador.
Can fully recommend Santillana."
