Not easily accessible from City Center; we took the 534 bus and then had to get a taxi the rest of the way, 90euros for 2 taxis. Our airport transfer was 120euros for 2 taxis. The surrounding area was absolutely beautiful and worth the trip to Acireale! Also have those euros available for payment! Even tho I wasted my time calling and was absolutely told by...

"Antonella, our host, made sure to make us feel very welcome. She also let us use the kitchen and the fridge which was great and we were allowed to spend time playing board games on the dining room table which was perfect for us. It was just like being at home bur with a lot of peace and quiet."
