"This is a trendy hotel close to the beach (about a 10-min walk) and the main drag. This town was mainly for young partiers, but there were families at the beach too. We checked in on the kiosk and had to drive a few blocks away for parking (€30/day). Additional requests like a second key and a second towel were made extremely difficult (I was refused a 2nd towel for my hair). I overheard the maids in our (3rd) floor talking crap about me behind my back the next day, assuming I couldn’t...

"Exellent place to stay but now they have a lot off youngster’s coming who the hotel can control late at nights as they are ranting and raving into the early hours off the morning and you can’t get to sleep till 4am been going to the same hotel for last 7 years but I think it’s time to change as hotel staff did nothing about the youngsters "

"Exceptional service from the recepcionist at our arrival. Large and modern room with a marvelous ocean view. The bed is confortable. Everything clean and modern. It was great to be able to walk from the hotel to the Platja d'Aro restaurants and shopping area. We really appreciate our stay."

"This was the most beautiful hotel I have ever been to due to the restaurant setup, beaches, and great rooms. The pictures online don't do the property justice. The breakfast was also fantastic, with over five stations of different food choices. My teenagers loved it. The hotel was also located within 10 minutes of nearby shops. It was also included in the Rando de Camino walking path along the ocean. "

"This was in a terrific location right near the beach, restaurants, etc. The rooms and space where excellent. It is advertised as having parking, but the parking is blocks away. It is extremely difficult to drive to the hotel, and you have to know the exact route to get through the blocked streets. This would have been helpful to know in advance."

"Booked for two nights as part of our Spain travel, Staff very friendly and accommodating, requested a last minute card and wine for my husband's birthday but they still made it possible, not too near to the beach area but very relaxing ambience and amenities. "Great arrival with friendly and helpful reception staff. Sea view room with balcony exceeded expectations, the gentle sound of the waves crashing in the beach was heavenly. Amazing shower, like a vertical jacuzzi so powerful with multiple jets. Really enjoyed the buffet breakfast and evening meals, ok maybe not Egon Ronny but a wide selection which changes each evening - we loved it! "Good hotel with many facilities to enjoy, with parking option. The breakfast is good too. Only thing that I am not very happy is the shower in the single room (seems ok for double and beyond). The shower place is too small and the curtain is sticking to the body and water is leaking around. "

"This is a really fun place to stay. It's close to the beach and sits on a boardwalk with a bunch of weird shops and some good restaurants. The buffet was good, and my kids loved the variety. The room was big and clean. The staff was very helpful as well. You do have to park off-site if you don't want to pay for parking, but it wasn't a problem at all. We will stay here again when we return to Spain!"

"All the staff were exceptionally accommodating and helpful. Very polite and welcoming. It was nice to have a bedroom where the aircon actually worked!! I loved the little touches of hand soap, shower gel and shampoo. Also a hairdryer is supplied! "This hotel has a quality about it that reminds you of days gone by but with a modern twist. There’s a touch of Cuba mixed in with 1970’s Spanish tourist hotel. The food is excellent and the staff are very attentive. There was a problem one evening with what sounded like a door swinging back and forward in the wind but it didn’t last long before someone fixed it. "

"Fantastic location, walking distance to lots of restaurants, cafes and shops. Beach is right in front of the hotel and is packed but clean. Check in and check out were super fast and easy. The front desk staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Rooms are dated, but clean. The food was mediocre at best, I would recommend eating breakfast on the resort and having dinner off resort."

"4* pools and garden, everywhere else more basic. Family review (2 young children) Very clean apartment, great daily maid service, shared areas always being cleaned/maintained Beautiful pools, play area and gardens Blackout curtains meant great sleep Terrace area spacious and clean Washing machine in apartment - Expensive to park in the hotel car park (10 euro/day) so we parked elsewhere - Breakfast buffet basic and same every day - Chips only option with dinner 9 nights out of 10 - Had booked bed rails for the kids, these weren't in apartment on arrival, reception said I could collect and take back (not practical doing this with toddler, no offer to help) - Cot bedding had no pillow (apartment pillows much too big to fit) and was just a sheet plus huge blanket so would recommend taking own bedding (cost 30 euro extra for the cot too) - Pools only open 10.30-6.30, another hour either side would have been perfect"
