"This is a trendy hotel close to the beach (about a 10-min walk) and the main drag. This town was mainly for young partiers, but there were families at the beach too. We checked in on the kiosk and had to drive a few blocks away for parking (€30/day). Additional requests like a second key and a second towel were made extremely difficult (I was refused a 2nd towel for my hair). I overheard the maids in our (3rd) floor talking crap about me behind my back the next day, assuming I couldn’t...

"Exellent place to stay but now they have a lot off youngster’s coming who the hotel can control late at nights as they are ranting and raving into the early hours off the morning and you can’t get to sleep till 4am been going to the same hotel for last 7 years but I think it’s time to change as hotel staff did nothing about the youngsters "

"Exceptional service from the recepcionist at our arrival. Large and modern room with a marvelous ocean view. The bed is confortable. Everything clean and modern. It was great to be able to walk from the hotel to the Platja d'Aro restaurants and shopping area. We really appreciate our stay."

"This was the most beautiful hotel I have ever been to due to the restaurant setup, beaches, and great rooms. The pictures online don't do the property justice. The breakfast was also fantastic, with over five stations of different food choices. My teenagers loved it. The hotel was also located within 10 minutes of nearby shops. It was also included in the Rando de Camino walking path along the ocean. "

"This was in a terrific location right near the beach, restaurants, etc. The rooms and space where excellent. It is advertised as having parking, but the parking is blocks away. It is extremely difficult to drive to the hotel, and you have to know the exact route to get through the blocked streets. This would have been helpful to know in advance."

"We loved our stay at Hotel Don Juan Tossa. Highlights for us included hotel cleanliness, convenient location (a short walk to the beach & restaurants), wonderful buffet breakfast, excellent/hardworking staff, and good value. We would gladly stay there again. Highly recommended!"

"Booked for two nights as part of our Spain travel, Staff very friendly and accommodating, requested a last minute card and wine for my husband's birthday but they still made it possible, not too near to the beach area but very relaxing ambience and amenities. "Great arrival with friendly and helpful reception staff. Sea view room with balcony exceeded expectations, the gentle sound of the waves crashing in the beach was heavenly. Amazing shower, like a vertical jacuzzi so powerful with multiple jets. Really enjoyed the buffet breakfast and evening meals, ok maybe not Egon Ronny but a wide selection which changes each evening - we loved it! "Good hotel with many facilities to enjoy, with parking option. The breakfast is good too. Only thing that I am not very happy is the shower in the single room (seems ok for double and beyond). The shower place is too small and the curtain is sticking to the body and water is leaking around. "

"This is a really fun place to stay. It's close to the beach and sits on a boardwalk with a bunch of weird shops and some good restaurants. The buffet was good, and my kids loved the variety. The room was big and clean. The staff was very helpful as well. You do have to park off-site if you don't want to pay for parking, but it wasn't a problem at all. We will stay here again when we return to Spain!"
