"Plus sides: next to the Donkey Sanctuary and the ability to cook for yourself. Now for the downsides. Where to begin? *Couldn't get into contact with the owner for check-in, arrival times, code to the key box or anything. Only after contacting Travelnest (the third company in charge of advertising the property) by phone on the day of check-in, I got a very short email from the owner about the check-in time (an hour later than advertised) and code for the key box. "We really enjoyed our stay at Route 2 for 2 nights. It was convenient and had most of what we needed."

"Great apartment, convenient location, excellent communication. We stayed as a family of 6 adults and had plenty of room in this comfortable, well equipped and well furnished apartment. Parking can be a bit difficult, but we always managed. The shop is quite well stocked and Naveed communicated well and promptly."

"I had not realised in advance that it was a net carbon neutral hotel. I was absolutely amazed by all the design and actions that were at work to make this hotel eco-friendly. Brilliant - if this hotel can do it, so can most others! Elegant Skandi look to all the architecture, inside and out, all practical and with a purpose, but attractive also. Bed comfortable, bathroom great (shower excellent) and I was able to have fresh air through a filter panel in the window also. Room was reasonably priced. Dinner was good and priced OK. Continental breakfast was very nice; the cooked breakfast not so successful, and I think at £20 was overpriced. Otherwise all wonderful and a lovely surprise!"
