"Having stayed at the Crest previously I was quite disappointed in the way the property has deteriorated, specifically in relation to maintenance issues, cleanliness was not fantastic to be honest, shower would not work and we have an ant infestation, on a positive note the reception staff were very pleasant, unfortunately I would not stay here again."

"Before we even got through the front gate the bell was out of order and you had to phone to gain access. It took 3 calls before we got through The room was very noisy in the evening and the balcony chairs plastic When we had tea on the main bars patio/balcony the receptionist closed the door and we were left locked out There wasn’t even an egg cup in our superior room Enough said "

"Great stay. Issue with our room which was dealt with professionally and quickly by the team. Moved to another room which was great. All of the staff at the hotel were excellent. Always cheerful and incredibly helpful. Big shout out to Mona who looked after us at breakfast for three days. He was excellent."
