"I wouldnt recommend walking to the hotel with huge bags. Get taxi or bus. It is on a hill, serviced by local buses. But the hotel itself is great, staff fantastic and just close enough (20-30) min walk between Old Town and where all the other hotels are in Lapad (30 mins other directon). Released pleased we books this hotel rather than one further out in Lapad ."

"Hotel is quite unique. I had a room on rear of the property with a sea view. Which was accessible from the outdoor, so had to walk down some steps to room door. Room was pleasant. Easy walk down to the breakfast restaurant, breakfast was excellent, lots of choice and quality, great outdoor seating overlooking the seaview and sun rise.Staff were really friendly and helpful. "Superb views of the beach. Last time I was in Dubrovnik, I stayed in a different hotel but moving forward, I will be staying at Hotel Kompas. Such great amenities, clean rooms, friendly staff, and very walkable to the restaurants and beaches."
