This was an exceptionally beautiful property that was extremely clean and well cared for by housekeeping. However, management left little to be desired. Upon entry, after inputting the key code to get in the main door, all the keys for the rooms were laid on the table. Another resident for the night had taken our key to our room leaving us in their room. This was fine, and the housekeeper Anne was very apologetic the next morning when we said we had one more night to stay and were in the wrong room, but it shows that the keys should not just be placed for everyone to possibly grab. The next day, not only did management reach out to use while we were out looking for the whereabouts of another resident who we had nothing to do with, upon our return home, because there was no innkeeper to greet us, every time we tried to enter the main building with our key another resident would lock the door before we could enter, possibly thinking we were intruders despite having our own key? Even when we had questions such as the time that breakfast ended (which is only bagels and cereal which differs from is described) and I texted, there was no reply. Anne is the life and soul of this place and definitely keeps it running, but the management is very poor. There should most definitely be an innkeeper, or at least a more secure way for everyone to access their keys. Like I said, a beautiful place, well cleaned and kept thanks to Anne, but 0 management to speak off, especially when needed.
