"All staff that I encountered were helpful. My reservation was upgraded to a room with a view of the iconic Hollywood sign. VIP perk of $31 credit through Expedia was generous. It was spent at their on property convenience/ coffee/ breakfast store called Bodega, which had a great variety of on the go food options like refreshing parfaits, pastries, breakfast sandwiches, and coffee (I recommend the Churro Ice Latte). Other perks were a food credit to their bar and credits for activities (bowling, city bus tour & movie at nearby TCL Chinese theater). (I’m not saying everyone will receive the same amenities but this was my experience. It was not expected so I was pleasantly surprised and I wanted to share this information.) Very convenient location to shopping and tourist attractions. I was able to use the more economical public transportation versus ride sharing from the airport because the Metro station was nearby the hotel. My trip was a spontaneous one night visit so I couldn’t take advantage of all the credits but I will definitely stay at Loews when I return to Los Angeles for a longer vacation. "
