Loved this apartment as it had all new fittings, perfectly clean and in a great location.close to supermarkets, lots of Cafes to choose from, tram close by. It was perfect for one would be a little tight with two.

Quaint apartment in the heart of the city. A nice respite from a cold December. Always pleasant returning to the apartment. Had all the necessary crockery and cutlery. Shower worked great.

Very scary and dingy entrance. They charge €20 for cleaning but they don't even clean your room daily. I had to wait outsider for 15 mins before someone came to let me in. Feels like a knock off cheap airbnb. I would avoid this property at all costs. The elevator to go to the place feels like it belongs in a dungeon. I will be contacting Expedia about this experience upon my return.

Was a great stay in Budapest. Amazing city. The apartment was comfortable and when we had problems with the heating the hosts were very accommodating. We opted for the apartment which was on the inside of the building and it was incredibly quiet.

Budapest in Comfort
Tatra Studio was a delight. Located just outside City Center but near major subway/train/tram lines that made it easy to get our the City & see all sites. There was a 24 hr convenience store to get what you need for breakfast also a larger supermarket less than 10 min walk. The studio was clean and very comfortable. Laszlo & his Team (thanks Chris!) are attentive to details - even providing tea; sugar; etc so you can start your day quickly. Building is beautiful w/lots of character and a lift! There are lots of cafes and a wonderful Hungarian restaurant less than 5 min away. Laszlo's follow up from the time of booking was great --providing information and staying in touch throughout the process. When we needed to get a taxi, Chris was there to help us and called and stayed w/us until it arrived. My husband and I will definitely go back to Budapest--a beautiful, soulful city and will certainly stay at Tatra Studio again!

Great centrally located apartment
The communication with Chris and Lazlo was excellent which made check in and out a breeze. The apartment was very modern and was within 10 minutez walk of the pedestrian area, the Buda side and Margrit isalnd which makes it great for touristing! Lots of trams and metros ndarby for further travels. Highly recommend!

Budapest long weekend
Good location 5 minutes from Margarit Bridge. Walking distance of several attractions and also bus, tram, underground and mainline trains close by. The newly refurbished 1st floor apartment was in an old 6 storey building with a central courtyard. Access lighting to the apartment at 1030pm could have been much better, certainly for the first night. Familiarity improved access on following evenings. Only Hungarian language on 30+ TV channels but apartment was clean, comfortable, small but with all necessary facilities.

An apartment hotel was a new experience for us. It gave us a more authentic experience but it was a little disconcerting to have no one on site. The studio was as pictured, though small. I think a large residential apartment had been converted to several studios. The building was primarily locals which added a certain flavor to our stay. Most of the restaurants around the apartment were generic with a fast food flavor. The apartment was only to blocks from the Danube which was hosting a small plane race over the weekend which was noisy but fascinating. It was a ten minute walk or so along the Danube to the Parliament and other sights. There was a terrific exhibit at the museum across from Parliament on Hungarian folk art through the ages. There is no one on site but the staff was able to arrange a transfer from the airport and met us at the apartment to check us in, show us how everything worked and provide information on things to see and do. They were also supposed to arrange a taxi to the bus station when we checked out. The taxi didn't show but they were only a phone call away and took care of it immediately. I don't know if they forgot to call the taxi company or if the driver just didn't come.

Good option to stay in Budapest.
I stayed 5 nights at Tantra 4. Good value for money, walking distance to historical center, silent at night and the management company is very professional dealing with guests. Be aware that the building is old and the courtyard is to the interior of the building. However the apartments are modern and fairly equipped.
