Gorgeous homestead on the hillside with a expansive view of the plains below. Perfect place for a quiet wine on the veranda, watching a storm roll in with the local fauna. The homestead is well equipped with common lounge with fireplace and a shared dining room. There are facilities for cheese boards to enjoy with locally sourced cheese and wine! What more could you want?
Wonderful stay. Overlooking the vineyards and located in a secluded location, very quiet and romantic place. The house is beautiful and the food excellent. Highly recommend!

Perfect place to relax from city life. Our room was warm and comfortable after enjoying a complimentary port around the log fireplace. The views from the veranda deck as the sun set was very memorable. Highly recommended and compliments to our host Karen . Ian and Dalila Dose
The guesthouse is a lovely homestead with old world charm and modern conveniences, the views are outstanding and very quite if what you want is to forget the rush of city living. The hosts Karen and Sean are absolutely delightful and very knowledgeable about the area, they are very accomodating and responsive to your needs. We had a delightful weekend.
If you want to experiance real Australian county house, this is the right one.
( to be honest, way much more than a normal country house. Very luxury and comfortable place)
You may see quite easily running kangaroos around the house.
All the furnitures are so lovey and beautiful.
I loved nicely baked homemade cake and cup of tea.
WOW it does not get better than this, anyone thinking of starting their own guesthouse should come to Mudgee homestead to see how its done by the best. The place is beautiful, the view is beautiful, the breakfast was excellent, the host and hostess were exceptional. Sitting by the fire with a glass of port in one hand and a book in the other will be my memory of country living ecstacy, we are going back and we are bringing our friends. WOW
This venue was just perfect. We were greeted by Sean and given a tour of the guesthouse when we first arrived. The rooms and shared spaces were beautifully furnished and meals provided were of exceptional quality. It was a highlight of our holiday and we would be definitely be visiting again.
Stayed here overnight on a quick trip to Mudgee. Great hosts, lovely mountain setting guesthouse, fabulous brekky, all amenities of a very good standard.
