"The resort, the beach and the people are amazing. That said, our room was definitely showing its age. I think it is time for the resort to invest in fixing shower doors that don't close, air conditioners that cannot be adjusted (i.e. full on blowing ice cubes or off; no in between) "

"The property was nothing special, but it was clean and the staff were friendly. It is a good location within walking distance to downtown. Our room was quiet and there wasn’t a lot of people at the hotel so we were able to enjoy the pool and beach pretty much to ourselves. For the price of the hotel, it was just as I expected. "

"Once again we feel the hotel rating is not accurate! A more appropriate rating would be 2 stars in my opinion. We enjoyed our stay, the staff was friendly and helpful, the suite was huge but quite dated, especially the kitchen and bathroom. The beach access was not easily accessible and the beach was quite rocky due to hurricane damage. Not very walkable to Bucerias due to the distance and the rocky beach. I think that the price was high considering the inferior location and outdated condition...
