Horrible service

I was completely disappointed. I booked a room in a hotel and was "upgraded" to an apartment. That ment no service, there was no hairdryer or a water kettle. The hotel was supposed to have a pool etc. The front desk was closed so I had to check in and go for breakfast to a different hotel. The free parking apparently does not exist so I had to park (and pay) quite far away at a square and the staff in the other hotel could not do anything as they only give out the room key. If I wanted to stay in an empty apartment, I would have booked an Airbnb. Noone informed me of this change.

Unser Aufenthalt war eine Katastrophe: Wir waren an dem Juni-Wochenende mit Rekord-Temperaturen mit unseren beiden Kindern (9 und 11 Jahre) nach Blankenberge gereist, um zwei schöne Strand-Tage zu genießen und hatten bewusst ein klimatisiertes Zimmer gebucht. Leider sind in dem Hotel nur die ersten 3 Stockwerke klimatisiert, unser Zimmer lag im 4. Stock unter dem Dach. Das Zimmer war unerträglich heiß, auch abends gab es kaum Abkühlung, an Schlafen war kaum zu denken, alle 4 mit brummenden Köpfen aufgewacht ... kein Wort der Entschuldigung vom Hotel, Zimmertausch sei unmöglich, weil ausgebucht ... schönen Dank! Darüber hinaus wurde von unserer Kreditkarte zuviel Geld abgebucht, was wir direkt bei der Ankunft reklamiert haben. Nach kurzer Recherche hatte die Dame an der Rezeption den Fehler gefunden: Es wurden 2 Frühstücke für Erwachsene zusätzlich berechnet, da Expedia (darüber hatten wir das Hotel gebucht) 4 Erwachsene (und nicht 2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder) übermittelt hätte. Die korrekte Buchungsbestätigung von Expedia haben wir direkt vorgezeigt, meine Kinder standen als zusätzlicher Beweis hinter mir, aber da "könne das Hotel nichts machen und wir müssten das über Expedia klären" ... nochmal schönen Dank! Dieses Hotel garantiert nie wieder!

Uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet. Welness was in ander hotel. Helft was hier buiten dienst. 20 Euro per dag parking Station. Coronaregels: mondmasker (correct) dragen, geen voedsel nemen met de handen maar met de voorziene tang. Om 07u30 werd er een grote afvalcontainer 30m³ geleverd en gevuld aan de voordeur van het hotel. Geen airco op de kamer maar een centrale airco voor heel het hotel. Laatste dag nog een bekeuring ontvangen van politie juist na het inladen van de koffers voor de deur van het hotel.

Pas un palace mais un 3 étoiles!

Venus passer un w/e en amoureux en Flandres, où les gens sont chaleureux et accueillants, finalement le seul point positif de ce séjour à l'hôtel : le personnel est très sympathique et très serviable. Mais, nous avons été déçus de la prestation de l'hôtel pour les raisons suivantes : - le "très grand lit" réservé était en fait 2 petits lits côte à côte - le chauffage ne fonctionnait pas et il n'y avait pas de couverture d'appoint dans l'armoire - l'homme de ménage laisse la porte de la chambre ouvre après son passage - ce même homme de ménage ouvre la porte de la chambre sans frapper... - le sauna de l'espace SPA ne fonctionne pas - le carrelage de la piscine laisse apparaître des traces de moisissures... - Conscients de notre insatisfaction, la réception aurait pu faire un geste commercial sur le parking facturé 50€ pour 2 nuits, mais rien... - Ce 4 étoiles est en fait un 3 étoiles - Le nom Palace est une tromperie commerciale

Das Hotel hat eine sehr zentrale, dennoch ruhige Lage. Die Zinmer waren sauber, auch das Badezimmer war sauber und man konnte sich wohlfühlen. Das Frühstück war gut organisiert und hatte eine große Auswahl.

Malheureusement l'expérience s'est avérée très décevante: Pas de parking disponible alors que nous avions choisi cet hôtel précisément pour cette raison. Nous avons donc dû aller dans un parking payant. La chambre était plutôt vétuste avec une insonorisation inexistante. Nous entendions absolument tous les bruits de la télé des voisins et des portes qui claquent aux conduites d'eau en passant par ceux de la rue, dans laquelle il y avait plusieurs cafés. La literie était catastrophique. Des matelas trop mous sans forme, sans parler de l'odeur des draps, qui semblaient avoir macérés. Toutefois, nous relevons quand même les points positifs suivants: Gentillesse du personnel à l'accueil Très bon petit déjeuner Bon emplacement, proche des commerces et de la plage. En résumé, le prix de la chambre est bien trop élevé par rapport à la qualité des prestations offertes. A l'avenir, nous choisirons un autre hôtel à Blankenberge. .

Algemene indruk

Hoi, algemeen was het ok. Ontbijtbuffet is erg erg super goed. Superior tweepersoonskamer was voor 4* onder verwachting. Kan iets beter. Je hebt wel koelkast met gratis spa rood en blauw en koffie. Top. Zwembad en alles wat ze aanbieden is niet goed. Zwembad en al ligt op een andere hotel. En de staat is niet al te best en stink naar pis. Erg klein ook nog. Blankenberge is best ok. Sealife moet je zien. En avonds kun je alleen naar een restaurant of gaan bowlen in de game hal. Algemene punt 7.5

ideaal voor een weekendje Blankenberge

Heel vriendelijke ontvangst, hotel is zeer goed gelegen in een zijstraat van de winkelstraat en vlakbij de trappen om naar de zeedijk te gaan, rustige en propere kamer voorzien van alle nodige comfort. Ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid met champagne/Cava, verschillende soorten brood en beleg.

Hotel is prima, inchecken moest bij andere receptie maar dat verliep soepel. Locatie is perfect. Minder was de organisatie vanuit expedia. Tijdens mijn boeking had uk duidelijk ons reisgezelschap aangegeven voor twee kamers 4 volwassen 1 kind van 15. De gegevens die het hotel ontvangt vam expedia zijn die van een baby als vijfde persoon. Geen plaats dus. Gelukkig was er nog een kamer beschikbaar die we kregen aangeboden. Dit Komt veel vaker voor bij expedia vertelde de receptioniste. Das een kwalijke zaak vind ik.
