"Lovely staff that spoke excellent English. We loved that we could buy reasonably priced wine and beer from self service bar and supply of glasses too. Was going to have breakfast but felt it was very expensive when there a couple of cafes open around the corner. All in all was a great hotel."

Had to call to get room key code it was not sent as promised. 90% of the time there is No employee to talk to about If your not from germany we were told not use the plug adapter because it would kill the power supply. Sign in bathroom states to throw your dirty towels on the floor. They will be replaced. But then room service did not come and clean or change towels that day and no one was there to talk to. "Check in was easy as completed on line. Our room (22) was like going back to the 80’s but was clean, fully functional and quite big. Brekkie offering was plentiful, selection of cereals, cold meats, cheeses, yoghurts, breads, preserves, dried and fresh fruit, tea, coffee, selection of doughnuts also the option of eggs and crispy bacon cooked to order. "We arrived about 9:00 pm. There was no any receptionist or room service or maintenance people. Checked in with computer and took the key. No hot water at all. Ice cold water. No people to call. Room was extremely hot. 27 Celsius. There is no AC. We opened the windows. Humidity a lot. Terrible smell of the swamp. Couldn't sleep at all till morning. Still no hot water. When we told to receptionist at 8:00 am about hot water. She said "I will tell them". Ugly people, terrible hotel. David"

"Not especially pleased to discover we had chosen their "Ruhetag" to stay here - no food or other service this day. Luckily the lady there could recommend another place to eat that night. They are, however, still willing to accept full prices for overnights."

"Stayed here with a couple of friends during the European Championships and they made our experience easy. Very friendly hosts, who helped us check in early when we arrived the morning of England’s group game in Frankfurt so a fair travel, but were extremely accommodating and meant we were able to get to the match early. Stayed here for the rest of the tournament and was a nice hub to travel to neighbouring cities. Thankyou!"

"We had only one night, which was - unfortunately - Christmas Eve. This meant that all regular restaurants were closed, including the one of the hotel itself. We ended up eating in a Kebab fast food place. The breakfast buffet of the hotel the next morning was phenomenal."
