"Basic things that were neglected or done poorly 1) no pre check in email was received resulting in us being stuck outside the property as we were not informed of the access code to gain entry into the property. Imagine being caught in a situation when you had 4 cars backed up behind you and you couldn’t get in - enough said 2) no air conditioning in the rooms and the windows can’t be open. Rooms are hot, stuffy and poorly ventilated- would have been helpful to have that piece on information on their website so that we could have made a better informed decision in terms of booking 3) their complimentary larder - is really complimentary - the items provided eg meats, soft cheese, dips etc all were close to their expiry dates eg 3 days away ie it would have had to be thrown out anyway if it was not eaten. Truly complimentary indeed. Clearly some cost savings here by management 4) Wi-Fi password was not readily available - had to call reception to gain access 5) their honesty bar leaves much to be desired. When I checked out, I found out that they had billed me for 2 bottles of sparkling water which we had not taken from the bar but probably written down by another guest who got the rooms number wrong Things done well 1) the property is really lovely with great views 2) the on site service is actually quite good Overall we won’t stay again because of point 1-4. Wasn’t worth the price paid "
