Hotel Phønix is a simple old hotel. No elevator, the floor squeaks and the breakfast is basic. But all in all quite nice, don’t expect the grand experience, the hotel isn’ttrying to be anything else than it is. I do recommend for a short stay if you don’t plan to use the hotel as special part of your vacation.

Able to chech in at 08:45 and get breakfast. Simple breakfast and ok quality. Cold bathroom. Very dirthy in the ventilation almost blocked. Good size room. This was in the eastern.

The pictures of the hotel looked very nice, but it wasn't realistic. The bathrooms are very old, both me and my wife showered in slippers cause it felt little hygenic not to. The room has very little furniture and is not cosy at all.

cheap good location with strange people at night
Positive: - great location walking distance to a shopping street - free parking space in the backyard of the hotel - breakfast included + cheap when compared with other hotels (they serve booze with the breakfast - gammel dansk) Negative: - disgusting bathroom (old and filthy - you do not want to touch anything) - hot in the room - no A/C - you need to sleep with an open wondow - BUT (!) then you hear every car and scooter that drives by on the cobbelstone road, and you hear all the drunks walking and screaming in downtown. You also inhale the cigarette smoke from outside (!) - not very clean in general - at night I saw a half-naked lady on the corridor followed by a man walking 20 feet behind her up to the room. Another lady was sitting and waiting downstairs at the closed reception (!) - she went in and out - smoked outside the hotel - all the smoke was going up to the room (!) - awful experience! You get scared to go out. - there should be someone in the reception all night long to prevent such situations - sleepless night If you do not care about the surroundings and noises - go for it. It is a good price. But if you want to have a quiet undisturbed goodnight sleep - go somewhere else.

Oppholdet var helt ok😊 Sengen var god og akkurat stort nok rom til en person. Frokosten var ok, ikke mye utvalg, men nok til å bli mett av. Hotellet ligger veldig sentralt og parkering på utsiden er gratis, så det var et pluss! Brannalarmen gikk på kvelden og en gang til på morgenen, var falsk alarm, men vi ble stående på utsiden uten informasjon en liten stund, da det ikke var bemanning i resepsjonen når brannalarmen gikk. Var en litt ubehagelig følelse og ikke vite hva som skjer. Eierne av hotellet kom etter hvert .

Ældre hotel der egentligt var ok til prisen. Vi var dog ikke trykke ved opholdet da vi oplevede at brandalarmen gik to gange uden at brandvæsen blev tilkaldt. Det tog ca 20 min før den blev slukket af en person der oplyste at han checkede stedet før brandvæsnet ville komme. Han boede lidt derfra og derfor var det nemmest at han gjorde det.

Det var med to overnatninger. Trist at der ikke var el-kande på værelset så man kunne få en kop kaffe. God mad i restauranten men de lukkede tidligt.
