Hotel is in full renovations. We were never made aware of this until we arrived at check-in. The corridors were a mess, wall paper everywhere, fresh paint on the walls, a lot of debris on the floors. The rooms and hallways smelt very strong. Our bathroom plug didn’t work. We had to ask the front desk to come check and no one did. The workers were working constantly in the hallways and talking loudly in a different language. There was an alarm ringing all night in the hallway. Our stay was very unpleasant. Unfortunately our options to go somewhere else were very limited as every hockey were fully booked due to a hockey tournament in town.

Hotel is in complete renovation and it wasn’t mentioned to us before hand. We arrived there and got the unpleasant surprise of being on a construction site. The hallways were completely undone (no floors, plaster everywhere and no paint). The room was somewhat finished (wires still exposed, moulding missing, shower drain unfinished). The floor had footprints on them and there was hair on the shower floor. The staff tried to make it better by offering another room that was even less finished and had a smell. They ended up offering to clean the first room again and giving me a discount. They did the best that they could, so I appreciated it. The bed seemed clean, so at the end, that’s what matters the most. Rooms are poorly isolated, so we could hear other people’s tv and discussions. Would not return.

Excellent value for money
Excellent value for money. Hotel has almost no amenities but is clean and well maintained, and the rooms were recently updated. The included breakfast was surprisingly good. Service was very friendly.
