"Had an excellent stay here, staff very friendly and accomodating, rooms spotless, food excellent for both evening meal and breakfast and very reasonably priced. Only slight negative was the room maybe needs some slight updating, the carpet was coming away from the wall and was fraying and the kettle had to be used on the floor as the flex didnt reach the plug socket. "A perfect little stay - no muss, no fuss. Room had everything I needed. Wayne went out of his way to help me with some extra things and was generally very supportive. Shower was a bit confusing but I suspect that's due to me being American and not used to that type (but the medium setting with the knob at the first red dot was good for me). Pub just across the street was very helpful for meals since I didn't have a car. I'll be back!"

"Fantastic service. Every member of staff is extremely friendly and attentive. Breakfast was lovely. It was good to have soya milk. The hotel has recently been refurbished and is close to the town centre - so very convenient. The rooms are newly refurbished, and the king size rooms are comfortable. "

"Hotel had ample free parking for residents. Bedroom was clean and tidy but the lighting is mostly provided by bedside wall lights or angle poise lamps. As a result the room was somewhat gloomy. Dining was available in the bar, tables were somewhat low. Food choice was good. Breakfast was a good choice. Staff were efficient. Hotel entrance was spoilt by the abundance of cigarette butts on the floor and plant containers. "
