Friendly reception staff and nice rooms. Great location for events at the civic centre.
As a sometimes user I found the Metro Very good. No complaints. Room was clean, comfortable and easily accessible at any time. Under cover car park is good. I felt safe which is important to me as an older woman alone. Staff were very helpful, polite and friendly.

Floor was not clean (French fries under the cupboard and very dusty and dirty under beds) disappointed no microwave in room. Buffet breakfast was very pricey for child. Paid $14 for a five year old child which is ridiculous. Room was
Ok value for amount paid just a shame it
Wasn’t a little cleaner .
Centrally located to the hospital - reason of my stay. Staff extremely helpful = Epitome of Hospitality. Nothing was too much trouble. Sandra & Chris on front desk excellent. Warwick in the bar very attentive.

Nice place to stay except I ordered room service and the burger was cold. I asked for another one and it was the same. I feel the burger, bacon and cheese must have been frozen and reheated but not hot enough. Couldn’t eat it as worried I might get sick.
Pros: We have stayed here before and will do so again. The design, layout, facilities, toiletries and tea/coffee making are OK if you accept a few minor inconveniences, i.e., it’s difficult to fill the electric kettle as it doesn’t fit under the sink tap.
Cons: In our room (504) the shower was over a bath and there was significant mildew around the bath/tile joint, not a good look. Furthermore the paint and plaster were peeling off the wall beside the window, ditto for looks.
A bit of attention to detail would put the class back into what is actually a pretty decent hotel.
We had a netball tournament on at the indoor centre, and it was perfect for us. It was so close and great amenities for what we needed. Very comfortable stay and close to everything.
Great. Close to where we needed to be and easy access

Lovely reception staff and close to restaurants, cafe and supermarket, however the room was dated, bed uncomfortable and unfortunately not very clean. There were many hairs in the bathroom, the shower curtain was mouldy and the shower very pokey. Bedding was stained and light fixtures were full of bugs and extremely dusty.
Hotel staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed room service from the restaurant, the food was delicious.
I found $24 for a full buffet breakfast a little expensive, but it was very convenient and plenty of it.
The most disappointing part was the room cleanliness. There were two teaspoons which were still dirty with what looked like dry yoghurt on them, and a used toothpick on the chair. The wine glasses had greasy finger prints all over them. Which makes me wonder how these items were "cleaned" when there were no facilities in the room to do so.The tiles in the shower had soap scum and looked like they needed a good scrub.
The bed and pillows were comfortable and the towels nice and fluffy.
