We stayed here to visit friends who live really close to the hotel. As this is a "contactless hotel" there is no reception to check in or out. You should receive a text/email the day before your stay telling you the access code to gain entry to the hotel, your room number and code to open the key safe on the wall outside your room. This worked well for us but you do need to check that you have received this as I don't know what you would do if you didn't have this info. The staff were around in the morning and they were polite and friendly. The breakfast was excellent. We would stay here again.

The hotel and room were nice overall with a friendly check in and customer service. I’m leaving a 4-star review because, on arrival, I was told that they were not taking food bookings because the kitchen was maxed out due to the Christmas parties that the hotel was hosting. I was told my best bet would be to order takeaway or go into town. For me that’s not acceptable; service should be consistent for paying guests over events being hosted.
