"If I could give Hotel Herceg more than 5 stars I would. Everything about this hotel was amazing. From location to the staff. The hotel is at the heart of Medugorje. A very short walk to the church, nearby shops, and restaurants. My family and I walked to Apparition Hill which was about 25 minute walk (highly recommend to walk, see the houses, and the Divine Mercy statue & well), and we walked to Cross Mountain. "Absolutely loved our stay here in Mostar. My only regret is that we didn't have more than one night. Our room had a perfect view of the river, and in the morning we awoke to the beautiful haunting sound of prayers being sang from a local temple, echoing off the mountains. Very clean and well equipped apartment, and a really lovely welcoming hostess. Thanks again."

"Once we found this "hidden" hotel, we were greeted by a beautiful garden and three wonderful innkeepers. You could not find three nicer people! Rooms are small and bathrooms are smaller and hotwater heater tiny, but the point of our stay was to stay someplace unique. It was completely worth the stay."
