my desire to stay here was the pool. through my searches via expedia.com all my filtering was on the pool. The hotel, knowing, that the pool had issues could have reached out or popped up an interstitial before/after booking. Otherwise, lovely staff, big room and a hot shower!

Modern hotel, friendly helpful staff in a convenient and attractive new part of Boston. Our only criticism was that when paying £600 a night you’d expect at least complimentary water in the rooms. Unfortunately on our stay there wasn’t enough water in the swimming pool to swim and the sauna was out of commission which was also disappointing.

Wanted to watch the Mets/Red Sox game in my room but the channel was disabled/blacked out BY THE HOTEL, not MLB or TBS (channel 41). My wife was told by the girl working at the front desk that the hotel "sometimes does this" when the home sports teams are playing in an effort to get people out of their rooms and down to the bar to watch the game (so they can spend money, of course). This was confirmed by the engineer that they sent to my hotel room to see "what was wrong" with the TV. His EXACT words were "this isn't the first time this has happened and it's not right." I feel that this is basically a shake down of paying guests and is an absolutely REPREHENSIBLE practice on the part of the hotel. This and this alone would absolutely keep me from ever staying here again considering the many other hotel choices in that area which probably do not engage in such a despicable practice. Other than that, the stay was fine.
