"The staff were all excellent and attractive. The room was comfortable. The spa-bath in our en-suit was a lithe noisy but fun. We enjoyed a swim in the pool, not huge, but not busy. The only negative was breakfast was not very hot but otherwise the restaurant dinner was lovely, and we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend. Great location for exploring the south lakes and Furness peninsula. "

"We had a great weekend here for our 40th wedding anniversary, all the staff very friendly and helpful. Had room 66 with a fab 4 poster bed and a great view over the lake. We ate in the main restaurant for dinner and it was sumptuous honestly like a Michelin star! Breakfast is spot on, everything you need and more.
