It was a bit more remote than I thought. It was raining and dark which made it harder to navigate especially when crossing a one lane bridge. Probably a better place for hikers/campers with kids.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The troll walk is very interesting. The restaurant had excellent food. The views were great. Only a 30 minute drive to the Hraunfossar and Barnafoss Waterfalls.

Had the best sleep in ages at this resort , the sound of waterfalls next to my cabin was pleasant they also have a hottub there which was cosy Cant recommend enough

Amazing location, great breakfast. We had one restaurant meal which was good. Used Kitchen for other meals. Used hot tubs and room was very warm and comfy. Would definitely recommend. Nearest supermarket is probably about 20 minutes in Borgarnes.
