"This place is more like a bed & breakfast than a hotel. Nice, cozy atmosphere. They serve an excellent breakfast. Rooms are very nice. They have a nice rooftop lounge area that has nice views. There are a few restaurants within walking distance of the hotel."

"Beautiful hotel! The most Amazing free breakfast ever!!! Linens smelt soooo good i wanted to know what they used to launder the towels! The only weird thing is when i got home my clean clothes smelt like mildew it was very weird because I never smelt that there! Im wondering if everything smelt so good there because they were covering up a mildew scent since it was an older building?? Either way i would stay there again because it was so beautiful!"

"We enjoyed this modern hotel in the city center with all the modern amenities and furniture. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was convenient and generous. We also appreciated it’s location as it was walking distance to all of the attractions we wanted to visit in Petropolis. I would suggest to request a room in the upper floors or a room facing away from the street due to some noise from the traffic. We would definitely recommend staying here."

"Excelente pousada. Local lindo e agradável.Quarto confortável. Café da manhã excelente. Funcionários atenciosos. Internet boa. Estacionamento grátis. Localizada a 3km do centro histórico. Tem uma cozinha coletiva muito bem equipada. Único detalhe é o barulho da rua à noite. Porém, no chalé em que ficamos, o barulho era mascarado pelo condicionador de ar. Recomendo e ficaria de novo."

"Stayed in a Triplo Chalet with a queen bed. Room was cozy and had everything we needed. No fan or air conditioning, but the temperature dropped into the 50s F at night and so was very comfortable. There was a neighborhood dog who barked much of the night (very annoying) and we could hear someone snoring nearby, which was surprising seeing how the chalets are situated. Overall it is a nice place though in a good location, a short drive to the stores and restaurants. Good continental breakfast and...

"Hotel não vale o valor da estadia. Quartos sem nenhum tipo de acústico. Conseguimos escutar tudo que as pessoas falavam e faziam nos quartos ao lado, também no corredor. Café da manhã muito simples, ou seja foi tudo muito ruim, a pior estadia da minha vida. Falamos com a recepcionista e a mesma disse que quem montou o hotel não pensou nessa parte de acústico, e disse sentir muito. Mas sentir muito não devolve o dinheiro que pagamos e que foi muito mal pago."

"Hiding Gem Hotel in Brazil , Beautiful Historical Hotel with well trained staff. Specially thanks for property manager Roberta who gave us superb hospitality experience, Each suit has own design. We feel alike staying in between amazing nature and historical castle. Also thanks for Juliana being such friendly and super nice. If you are traveling to Brazil you should stop by this area and have Castle experience. Highly recommended place !!!! Don't miss this hot spot when you in Brazil ! Greg and Zara form New York City "

Good stay. Place needs some love by the owners

"Good stay overall, staff were super friendly. The building really needs a renovation, a lot of water damage around, the floor in our room was buckling. Door handle to the bathroom fell off but that was because the bolt needed to be tightened as it was an extremely old door handle. Breakfast was decent. They just need to send a handyman around to each room and go over everything to make sure it’s in working order. Also a coat of paint would go a long way to making the place look better. "
