"We booked as an overnight stop on a long drive so we were grateful for a good room and an easy location not far from the main route we were travelling. We were grateful to find a good hotel that was dog friendly as we were travelling with our Cocker Spaniel. The room was a little worn in places but otherwise a very good stay. Good value for an overnight stop. "

"A warm welcome from the lovely Beatrix you are immediately struck by the chic decor and calming aromas. The owners have clearly spent a lot of time curating the decorative furniture, from the classic bicycle in the courtyard to the classical wash stand. The rooms are comfortable and there is a vast array of complimentary infusions available on the landing. Very convenient location if you’re heading for the ferry at Santander. "

"Perfect location in the city's center, so close to everything that you might want to see. The room was perfect and clean; private toilet with shower, TV, mini fridge and a fun for the summer nights in Spain. You were free to go in and out anytime, that's the freedom I was looking for. Will be back for sure!"

"Hotel was ok, I parked on the street as I didn’t want to pay €8.50. There’s no food available in the evening and the bar is soulless. Breakfast was ok, but just ok. Shower was a dribble in Room 104 and the shower head had to be held. I have cancelled another reservation that I had booked."

Good stay, smallish room, clean facilities

"We entered as some other guests were leaving. I don't know if we would have been able to check in if not for them. The information on the internet says that reception is not 24 hours but we managed ok. Communication is not always clear - since we don't speak Spanish, we relied on google translate. Everything was fine with our stay - I'm just not sure how reliable/easy it would have been if there were any problems. The room was a little bit cramped but good enough. I think there weren't many other people staying at the time because it seemed as if we had the shared bathroom all to ourselves, which was great 👍"
