"We had a wonderful family reunion over Midsummer holiday. Our hosts greeted us at the door for a brief tour and instructions, then sat patiently with my 81 year old mother listening to her explain family photos. My adult children played together like they were kids again and we feasted on a beautifully prepared holiday meal as a family. "Beautiful views of Lake Siljan. Lovely well situated hotel. Beautiful and classic design with furniture and layout. Lovely sauna suite with view from sauna. Great breakfast. The only thing to mention is only one vegetarian/vegan option at dinner that wasn't up to scratch. But according to my travel partner the other dishes were excellent. "

"Staff appears inexperienced. No bed linens or towels were in the cabin when I checked-in. I informed reception and they would inform someone to bring them. Over two hours later I went to reception to let them know that no linens or towels were delivered. the receptionist took me to a storage room and gave me a set. Strangely today I received a message from them through Expedia; Dear guest! On arrival outside the reception's opening hours, we will put your key in the mailbox outside the entrance to the Bäverhyddan/Receptionen. I think this was for some other guest as my 3 night stay concluded over 7 hours earlier. There is nothing truly special about the facilities, just average."
