"It was very clean and comfortable. The front desk staff is very polite and friendly. The breakfast thou was not so friendly and nice, when asked for filling up the coffee or Mille , they looked at you with anger and speak their language. Spending the weekend they should have had enough fruits, yogurt and other complementary foods to accommodate the hotel guests. It was so short on all breakfast items Saturday, Sunday and Monday morning. I was told that the truck will be there at noon on Monday....

"Jeff & Randy are wonderful hosts - friendly, polite and helpful. Breakfast was satisfying and freshly prepared each morning. Bob the cat was a funny diversion too. The Bougainvillea (sp?) Room was well sized and the bathroom though a tad small was fine. The bed was too soft and as a couple, we felt every move of the other person but thats not unusual for B&Bs. Overall good experience and would return. "

"This is a beautiful recently renovated property. The staff is excellent across the board. Very friendly and professional. My only issue is that a comment that was made to us (twice) that was snarky was with regards to "booking through a 3rd party" and made us feel like we were low budget when we actually paid the same rate that they listed on their website. We booked through Expedia to be efficient - not to save money."

"Really can’t find anything negative to say about the Opal Grand. I had booked a pool view room and when we arrived we were upgraded to oceanfront which was really lovely. Great location walkable to many nice restaurants and beach right across the street. Absolutely incredible service, I can’t recall a friendlier and more accommodating staff. We would most definitely stay here again if we go back to Delray which is a beautiful extremely clean town. "

"The cost for this property did not reflect what we got. Room was dated but clean. Bathtub was gross! The shower temperature was reversed hot was cold and cold was hot. The worse part was you could only have hot or cold water no way to combine so it was ice cold or scalding hot. The bathtub was too disgusting to use so a cold shower was the only feasible solution. The Motel felt safe but the area around it had a lot of vagrants. Some perks McDonalds and a Publix walking distance and the pool area was well maintained."
