"Before my visit, I was confirmed to have an upgraded room on the top floor. However, upon arrival, there was no record of this in the system, and I was instead placed on the second floor. Additionally, I was assured that my credit card for incidental charges would not be used for the room payment, as they would charge the card I used to book the room. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Despite these issues, everything else about my stay was great."

I opted to pay upon arrival, yet my card was charged in full 7-10 days before my stay without any explanation. Attempts to resolve this with hotels.com failed; they couldn't contact the company.
