"We had a great stay at Lugano motor lodge! Great location within walking distance to New World grocery, the Warehouse and the various dining places. The parking is easy and the lady at the front desk is super friendly and helpful! She even gave us a bottle of creamy milk for our coffee when we checked in. She stayed until 7pm till we finished our laundry. Across the lodge is the beautiful Seymour Square where we took a morning walk after breakfast before heading out. The room is clean with dishes microwave and a small fridge, convenient for housing our groceries. The bed is super comfortable and we had a good night rest. We recommend this place for safe, convenient and comfortable road trips in the South Island! "

"Great room and easy to get to by walking from bus station. Even though it’s off a busy road, the room was quiet. Didn’t get to try out the pool since it was rainy and a bit chilly, but appreciated that it was there. It seemed a little dated in the bathroom, but still clean and usable. Staff was great. "
