1. There is a boat that goes from mainland to the island where the hotel is. The boat does not run if there are thunderstorms. No one from the hotel notified us about this and told us that the boat is NOT running now and we can not get to the hotel tonight. We were lucky enough to walk down to the dock and the boat was thankfully still running. BUT if the boat had not been we would've had...

Frau Winkler-Robinig gave us a warm welcome. The rooms were beautifully furnished and had air conditioning. The entire hotel was clean and well-kept. Frau Winkler-Robinig recommended a charming Gasthof just 100 meters away, where we had dinner.
The breakfast was excellent, with everything you could wish for â she even made scrambled eggs and sausages for those of us who wanted it.
A strong recommendation from us â we will definitely be back the next time weâre in the area!"
