Stracta Hotel

3.5 star property
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (1003)
"This is a very good hotel, both in terms of geographical environment and hotel facilities. They are all impeccable, especially since it has two hot pools and two saunas. If it is an apartment, it also has a private hot
pool
. Bathrobes are also provided in the room. The staff are very friendly. The breakfast in the morning was also very rich and delicious. Since I was a premium member, I got two free drinks in each room. It is highly recommended. For dinner, the hotel also provides catering. If...

ION Adventure Hotel, Nesjavellir, a Member of Design Hotels

4.0 star property
8.2 out of 10, Very good, (377)
"Property is stunning and the on site thermal
pool
was great! Also dark enough that we got to see northern lights. Room was beautiful and comfortable. Right in the Golden circle area so very convenient for seeing the major sites in this part of Iceland. Only complaint is that breakfast for roughly $40pp looked very basic for the price- just some pre prepared eggs so we decided to skip it"

"Stunning views. The heated

Hotel Husafell

3.5 star property
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (327)
"Great hotel. Staff are friendly. Northern lights wake-up call was a nice touch. Food at the restaurant is expensive but the meals are really good. Definitely remote and need to have activities planned and some backup snacks, alcohol and necessities if you don’t want to pay for everything. But great relaxing stay. Access to the
public pool
was also nice. "

Hotel Laxnes

3.0 star property
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (719)
"Property was clean, not a luxury hotel but a great place to sleep and shower. The hotel bar is fantastic for drinks and to play
pool
or darts. My only complaint is that I was sure i had booked a room upstairs with a window however I was told they were full upon arrival. Could have a been a mix up with Expedia so I hate to blame the hotel. Staff are great and will stay again, only next time I am calling ahead to make sure I have a room with a window.cause the view to the mountains is great!"
