"The property is away from the hustle and bustle of the market of Ubud, which is good and bad as you it is a 20 minute walk to the market. The suites are good, although cleanliness has much to be desired...the turnover was done but garbage in the room was not cleared!!! Breakfast is not buffet style but rather al-carte...you choose what you eat from a menu."

"The villa and surrounding property was absolutely beautiful- peaceful and relaxing- the staff were incredibly attentive to our needs including carrying all our luggage from the main road entrance to our villa. Nestled amongst rice fields with a view of the valley in a magnificently manicured garden and tranquil pool has left wonderful lasting memories. "

"A quiet Indonesian style bungalow. I was initially disappointed as the pictures and description I booked were not for this villa. Anyway it was clean and comfortable. The pool was nice though kids rather ruined it. Many nice places to eat within walking distance and a short easy walk to Ubud. Bathroom very dated. Probably not worth what I paid."

"The hotel facilities and everything about it was more than satisfactory.There appeared however to be a tipping culture expectation when the overall costs incurred a customer service fee.Making it much more costly. Hand towels in the bathroom would be a nice addition.Staff were amazing."

"This is my third time at Goya - I love it so much. It’s serene, quiet and beautiful. The staff here are SO lovely, from reception, to restaurant, groundskeepers and housekeeping. "What a hidden gem! My partner and I wish we could have stayed longer. This was the most peaceful accomodation we have ever stayed in. The pool really is right on the edge of a cliff into the wilderness. Spending time listening to the animals and rain was amazing. "Excellent hotel with a very relaxed vibes. The villa was superb with absolute privacy. The property is arranged with lots of opportunity to interact with nature. The meals were good, particularly breakfast. The best thing that this hotel has is its staff. They are warm and friendly. Always greeted with a smile and by name."

"I had a great experience at the hotel. They have lot of dining options and a shuttle available to go to Ubud City. On my last day I had a negative experience with breakfast. I had explained about the egg allergy. They brought meal with egg. They took it back and removed the egg from my plate. I kindly explained that they need to remove the areas that there were bits of egg. They took it back and did the same thing again. I gave up and ate a bit of my breakfast and lost my interest in eating. This would be my biggest concern that they would need to make a new meal if my allergy was serious. Overall my stay was great. "
