It waa a Sunday so shops weren't open. Unfortunately since my last visit Blaenau Ffestiniog has lost a lot of their businesses. Fantastic area for the slate minea and railway though

"Apart from them not expecting me, they weren't doing breakfast and the telly was broken, I have no complaints. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was just what was hoped for with a comfortable bed and functioning hot shower. A bit pricey for a pub in April."

"I've stayed at the hotel previously, it's ideally situated and the staff are very accommodating. The room is comfortable and I would stay again. Utterly captivating and beautiful, every new turn was a wow moment, I've never been anywhere quite like it. The high street is struggling as all are through the country but the people are so friendly and the place is stunning.

It's a quiet town, built for slate miners back in the day.The terminus for the Ffestiniog railway, travel on this is a must !! The Llechwedd slate mine in 20 mins walk out of the town.
