"Great location for exploring Sarlat"

"This hotel is a short walk from downtown Sarlat. Street parking was near-by and easy to find. Our room was a Standard but was luxuriously enormous with great amenities, and a very comfy bed. Hotel staff were pleasant and helpful, even going to far as to ship back an item I'd left in the room. "

We stayed for 2 nights whilst attending a wedding nearby, and as we were unlucky with the weather, they allowed us to borrow an umbrella, and also gave help with the best place to park in Belves with the local weekend markets going on at the same time. "We really enjoyed our stay at this villa. The room was simple but well appointed. Clean and very comfortable. The villa is located in a hill within the trees above the river. Very quiet and peaceful. The attached restaurant was excellent, but was only serving one of the nights we were there because they were hosting a wedding on the weekend. This made food options very limited. Luckily we had a car and could get ourselves to some outstanding restaurants in local villages. We highly recommend La...

"The room was small, the bathroom smaller than a motor home. Shower so small that it was difficult to take a proper shower. NO AIR CONDITIONING. Had to open door and window to get any relief and when we closed them, it radiated heat."
