"The staff and food were fantastic. The hotel was being refurbished, but we were not informed about it, until we arrived. It involved, quite a convoluted detour around back stairs to get to our room, and those areas were very dusty. On the plus side, they did give a small discount as redress, but ..."

"Better than staying at one of the hotel chains. Had a mini kitchenette with a fridge and microwave, cutleries, mugs and dish soap, which is handy for meals. Facilities are neat and well kept. Big bed for 2 people also. Had netflix on tv also. Really loved our stay."

Small town but close to Cornhill Castle were we were going to a wedding. Had a few local shops and other small hotels restaurants and pubs. One we visited even had a live folk band on which was brilliant.

We only stayed one night as we’re there for a wedding so didn’t see Biggar but over all for bed and breakfast was amazing value and choice for breakfast was great
