"The hotel was stylish, clean, and had a good vibe. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Therefor the hotel itself gets 5 stars. However, the restaurant attached to it was not good. We ate there only because it was a Sunday evening and a lot of places were closed that we would have normally gone to. There’s not too many options to choose from. I wanted the pasta but was unsure about the sauce so I was brought a sample. It tastes like gravy, not a Marsala sauce. It had clumps of flour in it. So I got the Philly that was supposed to have melted cheese in it and peppers. But it did not. It was dry and plain. The sweet potato fries were good. My husband for the steak. It was cooked to the correct temperature but it lacked flavor. They didn’t season it but with salt and pepper so it was just bland. I also ordered the spinach dip appetizer and it was not good either. Again, not much seasoning and tasted mostly like spinach. I eat a lot of spinach dips at places, this was one of the worst. I’ve only ever had two that were bad. The chips served with it were fried way too hard and tasted like burnt grease. It just was not a good experience and I do not recommend eating there. But the hotel itself was great and there were other food options around. We were just in a pinch and wanted a more sit down nice meal and that was not it. "
