Good stopover
Always use this hotel as our first stop en route to Portugal from the UK. Once you have your booking ref the auto check in is painless. Breakfast is pretty good also. Nice French bar along the street that does good beers/wine/cheeses/meats called V and B.

Not really pet friendly, just tolerant
Stayed here a few times on our way to Portugal with our two dogs. Usually fine but I think the new manager isn’t too keen on dogs has he banned them from sitting with us during breakfast. Shame because it’s been fine before. So not really pet friendly just pet tolerant.

I could not get into the hotel, as I didn't have a booking number, I only have the hotels.com itinerary number, no other information had been provided to me. It says 24/7 reception, but the hotel was all closed up and I could not get inside. I arrived around 10PM, it was dark and hard to find. It is conveniently located right next to the airport, but unfortunately it took me a long time to get in. I eventually got through to someone based elsewhere via an intercom and they also said you cannot come inside without the correct booking number (which hadn't been provided to me by Hotels.com). Eventually they gave me a code to get inside, you also need this code for your room. So if you are booking - make sure you get that code before you arrive. It is not the hotels.com itinerary number. Otherwise all was ok once I finally got inside.

Je suis arrivée à 16h30 car l hôtel stipule que l’on peut avoir sa chambre dès 14h, je pensais m avancer sur mon travail… Malheureusement en arrivant l accueil est fermé et je n’ai pas reçu le fameux code (que je reçois toujours d habitude) qui permet justement d entrer grâce à la borne. J’attends donc 17h, que l Accueil ouvre enfin, et j’explique la situation, la seule réponse que l’on m apporte c’est : ha mais c’est normal je viens seulement de valider votre chambre car il y a tellement d annulation ?!? Euh donc je suis pénalisée pour tous les gens qui annulent ? Incompréhension totale . Merci à ce moment là de ne plus préciser que la chambre est disponible dès 14h car cela n’est pas le cas, et le désagrément occasionné est très préjudiciable dans mon métier de commerciale. Et c’est juste pas normal en fait ni respectueux la manière dont j’ai été accueilli .
