"The hotel appeared a bit old from the exterior but our room was actually in an upgraded area of the hotel and was quite comfortable. We even had a view of the old city centre on the hill. The location is fabulous as it's close to the funicular to the old town as well as being close to the city centre and the train station. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was nice. Overall, great stay!"

You can hear people if they are in this area but it was nice and quite when we were there. I would stay here again. "

I ended up having to use my mobile as hotspot - when you book, there is very little information given: eg where the reception is, no email, etc - the room is one out of 3 in an apartment, which is 15 minutes walks from the reception - no public service (eg bus) in the evening, and the road from reception to the house is full of drug dealers (on first night I was stopped twice, on the second...

"My stay here was a layover. I really appreciated the dark room when you close the blind (pitch black in middle of day). Even though the place has pallet furniture they did not buy cheap mattresses. This was a top quality mattress! The check in is strictly at 2pm from near the train station then once you have the key you travel out to the hotel (1.5km or 6 stops on a bus). The same company who does the check in also supply luggage storage at the train station so you can leave your bags and visit...

"Beautiful area right on a river with gorgeous mountains in the distance. The hotel restaurant was delicious as well and the staff were extremely kind. Just be aware that there is little to no public transit or even taxis in this area."
