"Great location! Lots of shopping and restaurants neaby. The hotel bar has great drinks and atmosphere. If your too lazy to leave, they also have great quick bites. The rooms are very clean and offer excellent amenities. The biggest 5 star rating about this hotel is the staff. They are fantastic. Very helpful and really nice to talk to. We changed our reservation to leave Vienna quicker than anticipated and are so thankful we did. To be honest, I thought I was going to go home disliking Austria because of the attitudes we faced in Vienna. Super grumpy unpleasant people no matter how friendly you are to them. We get along with anyone but my patience was tested in Vienna. Salzburg and the staff here turned it all around and we will happily come back to Salzburg. You will not go wrong with the NH hotels. The only downside, that may not be a downside for some, the beds are really hard in all NH hotels. We dont like them but the rest of the hotel is why we come back. Perhaps a pillow top menu would be a great option to provide? "

"What a great location!! Easy to walk to all the wonderful sites. Staff were very helpful, check in a breeze as was check out. Room was a great size. The room was very warm even though we turned the heat right down, was great that the window was able to be cracked open. Good gym with a lovely view. Would stay again"

"I absolutely loved the place. Please read and choose if that sounds right for you, because it is special. 1. Late arrival is served with easily accessible keys, and a lot of sms, so you can’t miss it, even if you want. No people to talk to (no offence)- you just enter like you enter your home. Silence and privacy. 2. Rooms aren’t big, but obviously planned by someone who thought about it. Comfy, I’ve got everything I need at my arm length. Puffy towels, coffee machine, wine glasses, heater. 2.1 god bless the person who covered all lights, including TV, with curtains 2.2 wending machine supplies wine, snacks. Overpriced? Perhaps. But it is here. You can literally go there in your pj. 2.3 working shower with proper water pressure. Yes, it’s small, but for those who have long hair: you will wash it nicely. 2.4 carpets made of zinovka: zero dust. Hello to those who has allergy to dust, like me. Perfect. 2.5 matraz : not soft, not hard. Comfy. Decent quality of pillows (theirs is choice: big and small), decent quality of bedsheets ( good thick cotton, comfy blanket. 2.6 it smells good! 2.7 good quality shampoo and shower gel It is quiet. Windows are opening, it’s warm or fresh as per your choice. "

"We had a great time staying at Trend Salzburg. We were able to check in very early because we took an early train overnight and arrived early. We were very impressed that we could check in and have a shower and freshen up before we started the day. Staff were very friendly."

"Review for Hotel Schwabenwirt We stayed at Hotel Schwabenwirt for two nights and had a great experience. One highlight was the early check-in—our room was ready when we arrived, which made things very convenient. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional, adding to the pleasant stay. Our room was very spacious, with a modern and well-lit bathroom. The bed was comfortable and spacious, and we slept very well both nights. The windows provided excellent sound insulation, so despite the hotel’s strategic location right across from the Berchtesgaden train and bus station, we had no issues with noise at all. The hotel is located right in front of the Berchtesgadener Ache, a beautiful river with crystal-clear waters, adding to the charm of the surroundings. The location is not only strategic for transportation but also very convenient, with two supermarkets (Rewe and Lidl) and a DM drugstore right next door. This made it easy to grab anything we needed during our stay. The breakfast was very good, with a nice variety of options to start the day. Overall, I wouldn’t think twice about returning to Hotel Schwabenwirt when visiting Berchtesgaden. Its convenient location, beautiful surroundings, and friendly staff make it a great choice.
