"We actually walked to the property from the Catania bus station. This location is near bars, sex shop etc. I would it was unsafe but it also didn't feel very safe either because all the bars it's surrounded by. Outside of the property/street isn't super clean but it's Catania and most of the street were dirty. Inside the hotel was clean and super beautiful. The staff was super nice and helpful. Our AC seems to not work correctly.. so we got super hot at night..we stayed only one night so we just...

"Wow this apt is in a gorgeous historic building that has been lovingly renovated with an incredible artistic flair. Neighborhood is central with great nightlife. I really enjoyed my stay. Heads up for those of you who can't carry your bags up stairs-- there is no elevator so climbing a minimum of one floor up is necessary. I didn't mind a bit, just FYI. "

"The property was very beautiful. It was clean. Bed and pillows were uncomfortable. They seemed extremely concerned about safety, and electricity, everything was unplugged and kitchen not usable. It was noisy but I think that’s to be expected. It was very hard to find, would have been better if there were directions on how to enter property and driving and parking. "We had a fabulous stay! Victoria was lovely and welcoming when we arrived. The room felt very spacious and luxurious. Breakfast was just enough, with a variety of foods. Because there are only 5 rooms it is intimate and quiet."

"Interesting property with unique decor. My room had a view of a beautiful church building. Location is perfect, just a few steps from Etnea Road which is a very long street with lots of shops and restaurants. Room was clean enough and the bed was comfortable. "The staff were wonderful. Check in and out was quick and easy. We had maintenance people come quickly for a problem with our refrigerator and toilet. The breakfast was outstanding. The lobby is beautiful. The property is a bit aged and needs some updating. "

Lovely hotel

"Lovely hotel. Really well situated and just across the road from the airport bus. And a beautiful park. On a busy shopping street (but with none of the noise, at least not in our room which was on the second floor and facing into a courtyard). Breakfast was lovely with a good choice, high ceilings and nice features. Comfy bed. Would recommend. Only downside is that there is no lift so be prepared to carry luggage up the stairs. "
