"Just stayed as a base for one night as was visiting family in Norwich. Service was very good as got an e mail with checking in details a few hours before we arrived followed by a phone call a few hours later to check everything was ok (10/10) 😀😃 Checked in with codes for front door and then again for bedroom door which was fine after we got used to doing it so not a problem .....just remember the little "*" at the end (9 / 10 not a problem) 😀 😀 In all honesty the room was a bit dated like...

"Lovely stay at the Wellesley. Good value for a basic hotel. Nice comfortable room. Welcome tea, coffee and biscuits. Nice big towels (can't stand the silly little ones you get in some places). Good position away from the main Great Yarmouth area but very easy walk to get there (10 minutes slow walk).Only place I've stayed in where you can't have food or alcohol in the room but rules is rules and i saw that from reading reviews before we booked so happy to conform. The Collingwood is right in the heart of Great Yarmouth, good location, staff very helpful, parking costs £3.00 for 24 hours, quite easy to fins a parking space near the Guest House, defiantly would stay at The Collingwood again."

"In our 2-night stay we had no contact with anyone else at the hotel, but could hear othwr guests a little from our room. Check-in was easy with guidance sent in advance, and the room was cleaned well during the day. The accomodation was clean and comfortable, although the common areas were unlit during the day so quite dark. A small amount of shampoo and shower gel was provided, and the room had a kettle.
