"We couldn't fault our stay—everything was excellent from start to finish. Check-in was quick and efficient, with Erika being especially friendly and helpful, which made us feel very welcome. Our room was clean and spacious, providing a comfortable base for our visit. When we went to reception to book a table at the hotel restaurant for dinner and breakfast, Rita greeted us with a cheerful and helpful attitude, adding to the positive experience. The rooftop restaurant is a highlight not to be missed. The food at dinner and breakfast was delicious breakfast with many Sicilian treats, and the view of Mount Etna made it truly memorable. Highly recommended!"

"My stay at the Splendid Hotel in Taormina was absolutely wonderful. The location couldn’t be better - just a short walk to the town center and the cable car that takes you down to the sea. It’s the perfect base to explore everything Taormina has to offer. What truly stood out, though, was how warm and welcoming the atmosphere was from the moment I arrived. The hotel has a charming, relaxing vibe, and the staff made me feel completely at home. A special mention goes to Mohammed at the front desk, who was incredibly kind, professional, and always ready to help. Whether I needed directions, recommendations, or just a friendly conversation, Mohammed was consistently attentive and thoughtful. His hospitality made my stay even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a hotel with a great location and genuinely caring staff, the Splendid Hotel is a fantastic choice. I am already looking forward to my next visit!"

"The hotel was great overall. The customer service was good. Our only complaint is that our room smelled like strong cigarettes. It was as if someone was smoking while cleaning. Towels, tissue paper, and pillow cases all as if we were breathing in ashtray. Aside from that, the view was great and the pool nice (minus an adult man that kept spitting in the pool!) The staff was fabulous. The breakfast was amazing and dinner very good. It was nice to get up and away from the tiny Italian streets."

"I loved this property and will stay again! There was 4 of us and we stayed for 6 nights. The staff were amazing- kind attentive genuinely helpful. The room was quite clean beautiful and bright with a view overlooking the sea. The breakfast was basic but good and the dinner was delicious. We went out most days nights because we wanted to see the surrounding area. Location is great - you can easily walk to the cable car however if you’re from the states this may feel scare as they don’t have a side walk and cars go very fast. At one point the bus came past us and it felt like the scary instagram reels. You do get used to it and locals walk these narrow roads often. If you don’t feel like walking the staff will call you a cab and it was only $20 each way for 4 people which is actually less expensive then the cable cars. There is also a bus stop 20 feet from the entrance. Other great experiences were the beach and service at the beach. The beach is private and there is an attendant to help you with seating towels drinks and etc. right next door there is a place to borrow kayaks and paddle boards. The view was amazing and overall it was an incredible stay!!"

"An excellent stay at the hotel. Service was excellent. We used the valet parking to make it easier. Breakfast was on the roof top and had a great variety. Staff and service were excellent. Quick service for cleaning rooms. I would recommend the hotel and stay again."
