"Great property and staff were very accommodating. The front desk called me when I landed to let me know the kitchen was closing and if we wanted pizza since we would arrive late. The pizza was waiting in our room. And on the last night (Christmas Eve) we asked the staff in the restaurant if we can get some local food. They were so happy to oblige. "We stayed at Hibiscus Valley Inn for 9 days in a Semi-Deluxe Room (#11). It was a wonderful experience. The room was great, the surrounding of a tropical garden was delightful. The staff (Shine, Linda, Coffee, Omahry, and Nigel) were very friendly and more than helpful. Hibiscus Valley Inn is only 20 minutes (by car/taxi) from the airport in Marigot. "Overall we loved it, though it would have been good to know that you can't drive to the hotel if you don't have a proper 4WD as it is located at the end of a long and steep tarished road. Luckily the hotel offers an transport service for the dirty road between 8am and 5pm. They also offer food(preorder only) and drinks at the bar. The staff was very nice and always helpful. Our favourite was the weekday driver. The cottage had a very nice kitchen unfortunately not much utensils in it... Being so...
