Looks good on the outside but the rooms are dreadful. Old style Novotel with visibly dirty wallpapered walls and our family room was so small you couldn’t walk around it without stepping on the beds. Cheap yes, but just too poor nowadays. Pity because the staff were very good and the chef and waiter in the restaurant produced superb food and service.

Decent place, well located
The hotel is easy to find and on the edge of the old part of the city. Hence, it's accessible by car but only a 5 minute walk to the city centre, restaurants, etc. Reception was friendly and helpful and the room was fine - spacious and comfortable. Decent sized bathroom and separate WC. Didn't try breakfast. Only downside was the fact that the hotel were refurbishing the wooden parquet on the ground floor during my visit, hence there was an overpowering smell of adhesive on that floor. Not apparent on the upper (bedroom) floors though.

Weekend stay at conference hotel
This is a good hotel. Rooms were immaculate. Public spaces were spacious. The only downside was that this is a conference centre with a capacity of several hundred and at the weekend there were only a couple of dozen people in the whole hotel. The atmosphere was eerie.

Novotel in Belfort France
For the price it was a very good room. If you're a smoker it's one of the only places in Belford to stay. It was located just a few blocks from the main Plaza in Belfort, and only a few more blocks away from the citadel and the lion of Belfort. Overall a very nice place to stay on a budget. Also good for business. Close to Ahstrom and General Electric.

Novotel Belfort Centre Atria
A good hotel in a boring town. We stayed in a quadruple room which was very nice. Parking garage in the basement of the hotel was cheap. Two computers with free internet access for hotel guests in the lobby. There was plenty of food to choose from the breakfast table and it can be recommended.
